Our company founder, Mr. Frank Sinkwich Sr., a Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Georgia, incorporated Skyland Distributing Company in 1965 as a wholesale distributor of beer and wine in Asheville, North Carolina. It was with equal dedication that he sought to build and expand Skyland Distributing into the company it is today. Now in its third generation, Skyland Distributing is a premier wholesale distributor of fine wines and imported, domestic and craft beers.
With one central warehouse location in western North Carolina, our primary distribution area includes 38 counties in western North Carolina. Included within these counties is also the greater Charlotte area for which our dedicated sales and delivery teams now service additional craft beer and premium wine brands.
It is the goal of Skyland Distributing to provide our suppliers and customers with the best possible distribution and competitive pricing available in our marketing areas. We strive to maintain and continually educate a knowledgeable staff, in which to further the sales of high-quality, premium brands that we represent.
